As with Community Character, preservation on the rural, residential character and equestrian heritage of the WV Corridor is an important land use goal. Another important goal supports further commercial development only upon the expressed desire of the Williamson Valley residents.

The Land use section of the WVCP contains an inventory of specific types of land uses including the number and types of any businesses in the Corridor. Also detailed are the number and types of community facilities and the makeup of land holdings such as State Trust Land, Forest Service, BLM, and private property ownership. Included in this section is a presentation of property zoning under current regulations. Population projections based upon potential land uses are provided
