| Explanation of the World Peace Petition
One person at a time & Pass It On
This may be the first petition that you have been asked to sign which endorses changing “yourself” rather than someone or something else. The signers of this document believe that peace is within each of us – and are raising awareness ONE PERSON AT A TIME!
If you feel strongly about an issue in life that could be better – Do something about it! (If you are not going to make an effort to improve it, then stop your whining!)
The message here is that 20 million people will be basically taking an oath to start with themselves, their own family, as well as friends, to straighten out relationships -- one person at a time & Pass It On.
We shall be grateful for what we have, and be considerate of others. If we all just promised to work on ourselves, united we can change the world – Again, one person at a time, and Pass it on.
We shall all respect our own elders as well as the retirees among us. These are the citizens who are “giving back.” These are the people who are doing the volunteer work to better this generation and the generations to come.
We shall judge one another for what we are all trying to accomplish to make the world a better place, rather than judging what we ‘do” for our livelihood. On this level, we we all start out equal. Ask your family and friends what they are doing to make the world a better place. Ask yourself as well, and declare your allegiance to making the effort.
"If I don't hurt me and I don't hurt you how can we have war?"

ARLANS MISSION STATEMENT
My purpose is to express my love for life, for humanity, and for the world by helping one person at a time to recognize his or her true potential. I accomplish this by treating each person the same that I wish to be treated. Together we realize that we are all capable of making a difference in this world. The process is one person at a time – Pass it on!
