The Concept:  Take a look at the 100 Ways To Pass It Forward - Pick one way (in your heart) and your volunteer mentor will help you find 99 other like minded people or organizations to do the rest.  The "A United World" website will provide all of the tools necessary to implement your idea so you can make a difference in this world!

Below is an example of three questions that your mentor may ask you to help you find your passion, purpose and turn it into action!  This is all part of the Pass It Forward Movement.

(1) Find your passion (2) to help you create your purpose (3) and present your creative program to make a difference!

1) What is it that you experienced in life that makes you compassionate for others?

2) What did your parents do that you swore you would also do, or swore that you would never do?

3)  Identify a cause that you most resonate with, that you most want to help.

Your personal Pass It Forward Mentor will mentor you, and eventually, (if you wish) you will be able to mentor others and pass it forward.

Do you have a mission statement yet?  Create yours now!

Step A. Write down 5 positive personality characteristics you like about yourself in your career and home life.  For example: willingness to learn, persistence, creativity, friendliness, sense of humor.

Step B. For the items you listed above, describe the way you express each positive characteristic on a regular basis in your life, using the word "by" to begin each phrase. For example, if you listed "willingness to learn" above, you might write "by being committed to ongoing professional development" below. Another example: If you wrote "persistence" above, you might write "by making sure the job always gets done" below.

Step C. Write down 5 non-material goals you’d like to achieve one year from today.  These are not financial goals.  You may list financial goals separately.

Step D. Look back over Steps A, B, and C, circling the 3 most important items in each column.

Step E. Now fill in the blanks of the following paragraph:

"My purpose is to express my _________ ,_________, and_________ (write in the three items you circled in Step A) by _________, by_________, and by _________ (write in the three items you circled in Step B) to create _________, _________ and _________, (write in the three items you circled in Step C) and at least _________ (write in your personal goal) by_________ (write in the date one year from today)."
