Welcome to the WiSe Web Based Training page.  Here you will find a variety of offerings using the iLinc Web Conferencing platform.  We have discounted the prices on this page to reflect an introductory offering.  Please take advantage of these prices while they last!
 
The links below will take you to Pay Pal where you may pay for your training using either a credit card or your personal Pay Pal account.  Please be sure to select the same session that you registered for on the iLinc site.

Fundamentals for a Job Developer Part I

This session will include aspects of job developing and marketing in your community for job candidates with developmental disabilities.  Topics to be discussed:  Networking, Marketing materials, Cold Calling and Producing an effective 30 sec. elevator speech.

Social Security Benefits and Work Incentives 101

This session will offer basic information about Social Security disability benefits including: 
Overview of the different Social Security disability benefits and eligibility for these benefits, examination of common myths and misconceptions about how work affects benefits, introduction to Social Security Work Incentives including IRWE and PASS, exploration of ways to maximize benefits while working.

Self Employment for People with Significant Disabilities

Join us for an information packed session including stories about people with disabilities who are self employed.  We will discuss the basics of planning, supporting, and starting a sole proprietorship in Washington State.  Details such as licensing, taxes, finding resources, accounting, marketing, impact on public benefits, insurance, will also be explored.
