Programs and Activities


Past programs and activities at the Tuskegee Human and Civil Rights Multicultural Center have included:


  • Summer programs for teachers from all over the country with the National Endowment for the Humanities-supported "Stony the Road We Trod" civil rights tour.

  • A five (5)-state collaboration of programs and tours related to Booker T. Washington with the locally developed "Separate, But Unequal" program.

  • Other activities have included a family history workshop, quilt making demonstrations and essay contests for school children.
