Special exhibits at the Tuskegee Human and Civil Rights Multicultural Center have included:

• The Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services (SITES) exhibit of "Yesterday's Tomorrows" with a companion Super Teacher Workshop sponsored by the Alabama Humanities Foundation and an exhibit of Tuskegee University architectural models including a solar energy house built and showcased in a competition in Washington, DC.

• "The Greater Good" exhibit featuring video and still photography on the Tuskegee Syphilis Study.
