Relocation by Charles P. Smith on 6/22/2009 9:51:26 PM

Message Relocation was posted by Charles P. Smith, on 6/22/2009 9:51:26 PM.

My Girlfriend lives in Tri-Cities with her two daughters (11,8). She is planning on moving over here to Kitsap County. Like most kids they are scared and don't want to leave their friends. Their dad who is unemployed (has been for years) and lives with his parents has filed a petition to change the custody so that he gets the kids. He has cited my ADHD son,the expense of exercising his visitation should the kids live on this side of the mountains as well as the kids desire to stay in the town they have always lived in as reasons to reverse the custody agreement.

Does he have a chance? What should she be doing? Sorry if this question is counter to the intent of the forum. She is not trying to deny him anything and has always allowed for visitation far exceeding the agreement. She just wants to be with me.
