SUMMER 2009

Pam and Jeff; dedicated TLC supporters held
a garage sale with the proceeds (over $200) benefitting the
Ten Lives Club. Several TLC cats were also present hoping to
be adopted into their forever home(s). Although the cats were
not adopted, they charmed the public and helped to get
the word out about the Ten Lives Club.

Nice work Pam and Jeff!

Fantasy Island's Adopt-A-Thon

 James, Dylyn, and Sally

On June 13, 2009 Ten Lives Club participated in Fantasy Island's
Adopt-A-Thon along with other area animal rescue groups.
Volunteers Betsy, James, Dylyn, and Sally spent the day with
two of our cat ambassadors (Granite and Sissy pictured above) spreading
the word about
our organization.

On January 31, 2009 the two kids (pictured below)
along with their parents surprised our cats at the shelter
with loads of goodies! This is the second year they asked
their birthday party guests to bring gifts for the cats.

Thank you both for your kindness and generosity!
The cats agree it was the purrfect way to show
how much you care about them!

PET PICTURES WITH SANTA

John Przybysz; TLC volunteer cleaner @ the Walden Avenue Petsmart played
a great Santa for TLC's "Pet Pictures with Santa" fundraiser.
Terry Brenner; also a TLC volunteer cleaner and her daughter Sara
helped with this event. Pictured: Donnie the kitten and some dog friends.

On Saturday September 13th, 2008 Ten Lives Club
was the featured
organization at
Valu Home Center's "Community Event Days" Hamburg
and Springville stores. Dedicated volunteers served up hot dogs, sold
cat toys, and showed some of our adoptable cats. Despite the rainy
weather the hot dog sale was a great success!

GRAND OPENING DAY!
Sunday, June 3, 2007

We all had a great time and thanks to all those
who helped get the shelter
ready for this event - you all know
who
you are! Many, many of us were at the
shelter day
and night to all late hours trying
to make it purrfect for the
event which came
upon us way too soon.

Thank you for these
efforts as we certainly pulled it off!
I could name
dozens of you who helped clean, renovate, and
ran
errands, but I would be afraid to miss out on one single person
as so many pitched in to
make this grand opening happen.

Around 200 some people were present at the ribbon
cutting ceremony
and the tributes were very
touching. We really put on the spread that day!
Most likely
the next time we have such an event it will be our 5th
anniversary, so we still have
some time to rest.

Our vision and dream has been realized and no
stopping us now!
WE ALL MADE THIS HAPPEN NO
MATTER WHAT YOUR ROLE
IN TLC. We all deserve
kudos for what we have achieved for the
cats out
there! This shelter will now stand forever...for our
grandkids
and future generations to run someday.
Rope the young in now so we
can all retire very soon...

Marie Edwards - Founder TLC

We have a beautiful plaque on the shelter entrance wall with
sixty empty name plates. We hope to have sixty people to donate
$1,000 or more for their name, their business/company, name of a
loved one or pet listed so we can fill all of the name plates. In doing so,
$60,000 will be raised to pay off TLC's mortgage on the shelter.
Please get the word out and to help us make this happen!
This wall hanging will stand forever in the shelter to show all those
who helped with the shelter's start on it's way to success.
