The Teen Financial Camp is a week long event that helps youth to better understand money and how it operates. Because we live in a capitalistic society, it is essential that people understand money principles, before making unwise financial decisions that can lead to debt and other problems. Sadly, money management is not taught in most school systems, leaving it up to adults to teach children about the subject. While some adults do, most adults do not pass on wise financial principles to the next generation. In an effort to help all youth have a better future and learn how to spend money before they get it, the Teen Financial Camp was created.

The camp features instructors who are actual financial professionals. Topics covered in the camp include: investing, budgeting, entrepreneurship and more. In addition, each year, the participants of the camp travel to NYC to visit Wall Street and the financial district. This overnight trip, gives youth exposure to see how wise spending can lead to success and give them a better understanding of how our country operates. Without a doubt, the Teen Financial Camp is a fun and exciting way for youth to learn about money and how to make wise financial choices in their future.
