Bethel High School
Bethel High School located in Hampton, VA has worked diligently to support the efforts of Six House, Inc. since its inception. Members of the high school staff as well as students have volunteered their time and talents to assist with College and Cultural Tours, the Christmas Blessing Program, the Back to School Festival, the Celebrating Seniors programs and various other activities. We are especially proud of the collaboration between Bethel High School and Six House in our development of the In-School Suspension Program that is currently being offered.

Outstanding Contribution to Six House, Inc. for Adults
The Small Business Development Center of Hampton Roads, Inc.
The Small Business Development Center of Hampton Roads, Inc., is an organization operated in conjunction with the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC), in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The purpose of this collaborative network of business assistance is to make business management counseling, information, technical assistance, and training more readily available to those in need. Located on the campus of TNCC, the Small Business Development Center has been a valued partner of Six House, Inc. since 2004. The two organizations have worked together to form the Minority Business Coalition which also involves two additional organizations. As a result of this partnership, the community is offered entrepreneur training and individuals are encouraged to begin and maintain their own businesses.

Arlesia Glaspy
Arlesia Glaspy is a native of New Jersey who relocated to Hampton VA as a result of being a student at Hampton University. In 2005, she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in biology. Currently, she is a graduate student at HU, where she is in pursuit of a medical science degree. She plans to attend medical school upon completion of her graduate studies. It is her dream to develop a minority-operated practice in an underserved community. Ms. Glaspy volunteers with the Six House, Inc.'s Project Six-cess after-school program as a tutor. In this capacity, she helps elementary and middle school students with homework assignments and other school projects. She also serves as a mentor to these youth and has remained a positive role model for those students. Arlesia believes in giving back to the community and wants to help improve the lives of the children she tutors. She feels that each of us has the ability to empower society, and more importantly, one another.
