Provides comprehensive assessment and referral services for homeless persons, individuals in the justice system and voluntary referrals.

Provides a 12-week outpatient substance abuse counseling program for individuals with substance abuse disorders. Services include individual and group counseling.

Provides day treatment, aftercare, relapse prevention and supportive services for women whose needs can be met in a therapeutically supportive living environment.

Provides long term therapeutic community residential treatment for adult males with chronic substance abuse disorders. A 16 bed transitional housing facility for homeless male veterans is also located at this site.

Domiciliary Unit: Provides a therapeutic residential treatment environment which includes intensive counseling, psychiatric support, intensive care management, for adult males with co-existing substance abuse and mental health disorders.

Substance Abuse Unit: Provides a therapeutic residential treatment environment which includes intensive counseling, individual/group therapy and intensive care management for adult males with serious substance disorders.  

Family Intervention Treatment Solution (F.I.T.S)/Family Drug Court: Julie Robertson, Supervisor

Provides a full range of substance abuse services for referrals from Volusia County’s Dependency and Family courts. Services provided include evaluation, group/family counseling, day treatment, residential placement, case management and advocacy.

Provides aftercare housing and community support following successful completion of residential treatment. Focuses on reintegration into the community and developing relapse prevention skills.

Designed to serve homeless individuals with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse and individuals who are at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Services include assessment, case management, group treatment, advocacy, and referral.

Provides transitional housing, case management, linking and referral services for 16 homeless male veterans referred by the Veterans Administration.

Jail Diversion Program: Provides treatment interventions, including a range of educational and rehabilitative services, for selected individuals charged with minor criminal offenses on a fee for service basis. Referrals can be made by attorneys in consultation with the State Attorney’s office.

IPN Program (Intervention Project for Nurses): Individualized services including outpatient and residential, for impaired professionals available through referral by the Intervention Project for Nurses Board.

Various Volusia County locations (when available).  Serenity House is an approved Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) and provides safe and sober permanent housing opportunities for low and very-low income, high-risk individuals. Housing placement leads to a decrease in homelessness and improved quality of life.
