 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will our Soldier be from Gwinnett?
A: Probably not, we'd like to think that one of our own won't be severely wounded. Of course that is always a possibility.

Q: How soon will we have a Sentinel in Gwinnett County?
A:: That depends on how quickly we can get the necessary housing and funds in place to live up to our promises for 4 years.

Q: How will our soldier be selected?
A: We will select our Sentinel from the pool of accepted applicants according to their needs and our resources.

Q: Will our soldier have a family
A: We are identifying resources and preparing for a family of three assuming our soldier will have a spouse and one child.
Q: What will be our soldier’s disability?
A:    We will not know for sure until we start interviewing caidates however we expect that the Senitnel will either be badly burned, deaf, an amputee, or a paraplegic.  We do not feel that Gwinnett county has enough public transportation to accept a blind candidate.
