        This essay will explore the presumptive real estate problem arising from 1) the impact of changes in the bankruptcy laws (that favor the lending industry) on housing affordability, 2) the impact of the credit card industry's minimal monthly payment increase on housing affordability, and 3) the impact of LTV requirements, artificial equity, and higher interest rates on refinancing expensive ARMs.
