Heritage House Cottages were established with a small seed grant for perinatal addiction treatment from the Orange County Health Care Agency. In 2005, the program was picked up by a HUD grant to fund supportive housing for homeless women and their children. Participants are graduates of SCADP’s Heritage House or Heritage House North treatment programs in Orange County. The program has two sites in Anaheim, with a static capacity of 20 women and their children. Services include needs assessment, case management with service linkage and transportation, individual and group counseling, child respite care, educational/vocational development, and discharge planning for transition to safe, permanent housing.
