Clients are placed in the component most suited to their individual needs and/or court requirements. Track I is a court-ordered and accredited PC 1000 drug/alcohol diversion program. It is 20 weeks in length and requires completion of 18 one hour education classes, 18 one and one-half hour group sessions, five hours of individual counseling, plus twenty 12 Step support group meetings. Track II provides more intensive counseling and is 26 weeks in length. Clients must participate in twice weekly group therapy and education sessions, 13 one-half hour individual counseling sessions every other week, twenty-six 12 Step meetings and urinalysis drug testing three times a week. Track II serves those clients who are referred by the Department of Children's Services and probation/parole departments.
