Although a UK citizen by birth, after 25 years Robin feels comfortable claiming
to be a New Yorker. He has
been a Fellow of the RSA for even longer and has been directly involved
in organizing events in the USA and representing the Society in
Manhattan.
Robin has special knowledge of corporate branding and communications. He is currently a senior advisor to Landor Associates, a leading
firm of branding consultants and designers and to Young & Rubicam
Brands. His clients have
included Samsung in Korea, Fletcher Challenge in New Zealand, Boehringer
Mannheim in Germany, Tenaris in Argentina and The Gillette Company here
in the US. His business
career began in the oil industry with Shell in the UK, Australia and
Germany, followed by McKinsey & Company as a management consultant
in the UK and Germany.
Robin has a degree in economics from Cambridge University and was winner of
numerous rowing events at Henley Royal Regatta and in the
Oxford-Cambridge boat race.
He brings an international perspective to the future development of RSA in
the USA. |
