Thank you for expressing an interest in REACH 4A Star Riding Academy!

This letter is designed to inform you of some of the center’s policies, rules, fees, session schedule, and what you can expect from us.

Mission Statement:

REACH 4A Star Riding Academy is committed to improving the overall health, well-being and quality of life of differently-abled children and adults in our community. 

We achieve our mission by providing meaningful opportunities for participation in remedial and therapeutic, equine assisted activities and events. In safe, secure, professional, and caring environments, REACH 4A Star gives all people the chance for personal development, achievement and enjoyment.

 

     You can print a Participant Application, once it is completed, signed, and returned to us, you will be contacted and an evaluation time for the prospective participant(s) may be scheduled. Evaluations are $25.00 per participant. Evaluations consist of an interview, mounted or ground equine-assisted activity, tour of facility, and scheduling of class if accepted into the program. The team working with each participant includes the horse, the instructor, assisting volunteers, parents/guardians/caregivers, and the participant themselves. Goals, lesson plans and re-evaluations are done for each session.

 

Dress Code for Participants and the Fee Schedule. If a “tuition assistance application” is needed, please contact us at the below listed numbers.

Fees are to be paid prior to or upon arriving for your first class unless prior arrangements have been made.

 

Class Attendance Rules:

*      No make-up classes. Exceptions: emergency, illness, or class has been canceled by R4ASRA. (You’ll be contacted as soon as possible and we hope you will do the same.)

*      If you arrive 15 minutes late, only ground activities will be provided pending availability of volunteers. No make-up class provided.

*      If you have two (2) “no show - no calls” in one session, you will be dropped for the remainder of the session. No refund, no make-up.

Please remember that our center functions on 95% volunteer power, they have devoted hours of training & time to prepare for your class.

 

Directions to REACH 4A Star Riding Academy: from downtown Casper.

          Travel west on Hwy 20/26 to N 6 Mile Rd / County Rd 119 (landmark - Roscoe Steel), turn north (right), and proceed 1 ½ miles. Center is on the left.
