The Neuter Commuter Mobile Clinic
Services and Fees

The mobile clinic operates throughout Passaic County in areas such as Clifton, Pompton Lakes, Bloomingdale, Totowa, and Paterson. You may have seen our clinic parked in locations such as PETCO / Totowa, Bloomingdale Animal Shelter (BASS), Pompton Lakes Animal Hospital, Clifton Shelter, to name a few.

Dr. George Cattiny, Jr. and the staff of Pompton Lakes Animal Hospital have assisted the Coalition with the set up and managing of the clinic, surgical requirements and procedures.

The van is currently staffed with several veterinarians and vet techs. A scheduled surgery day will include one veterinarian, two vet techs, and our mobile clinic manager.

The mobile clinic offers the following services
at reasonable rates (see fee table below):

Feline spaying and neutering
1-year Rabies vaccination
Distemper vaccinations
Feline blood testing for FELV / FIV
Micro chipping
Flea and Tick Prevention

Our goal is to help control the pet overpopulation problem, and, at the same time, offer those on a lower or fixed income an opportunity to have their pets vaccinated and altered at a reasonable cost. As schedules are set, we will notify the public of the locations, dates and times when the mobile clinic will be in your area. More detailed information will also be posted on this website , so please check back with us often.

Cat (Male) Neuter	$50 *
Cat (Female) Spay	$65 *
FELV/FIV Test	$25
(Above prices include rabies and distemper vaccinations, nail trimming)
Canines
Dog Neuter, 1-50 pounds	$65 *
Dog Neuter, over 50 pounds	$80 *
Dog Spay, 1-50 pounds	$75 *
Dog Spay, over 50 pounds	$90 *
(Above prices include rabies and distemper vaccinations, nail trimming)
Elizabethan Collar	$5
Microchip	$20
Flea/Tick Treatment - Frontline	$10
Flea/Earmite Treatment - Revolution	$15

* Additional charges may be assessed if the animal is pregnant, has undescended testicles or any other unusual conditions.

Please Note: The appropriate Neuter Commuter Application and Consent form for Sterilization of Pets must be completed and submitted to receive services.
