About Us

The Ohio Boychoir has been considered to be a cultural gem of the Northeastern Ohio community since its founding in 1974. The ensemble has provided glorious music in venues from neighborhood churches to concert halls and cathedrals throughout America, Europe and Australia. The Ohio Boychoir prides itself on its outstanding musical presentations and its strong commitment to education and community pride. Our singers are drawn from five counties across Northeastern Ohio area and rehearse weekly under the musical direction of Graham Schultz.

Membership in the Ohio Boychoir training and concert choirs is open to all boys from age 7 to voice change regardless of race, creed or economic status. The choir is a non-profit corporation. Thanks to contributions and grants from individuals, corporations, foundations and other organizations, this worthy program remains a reality.

Participation in the choir offers its members the opportunity to expand their music education, to perform in outstanding venues throughout Ohio and the United States, to experience different cultures, to learn personal responsibilities and good citizenship, and to develop social poise and maturity.
