At Noah’s Ark, we offer a variety of programs that are designed to introduce animal care and the important concepts and trends in humane treatment of animals.  We aim to help reduce animal abuse and homelessness, and manage the pet population. These programs range from shelter tours and classroom visits to mentoring students working on special projects related to animals.  Our programs are for all ages and teach pet responsibility and encourage the special bond between humans and animals. Through these programs we inform participants about issues that animals face, and empower them to make a difference in their communities and across the globe.

The Noah’s Ark Humane Education Program is welcomed into schools and community groups throughout the greater Morris, Sussex & Warren County areas.

Girl Scouts can earn their Bronze Award by working with Noah’s Ark.  Scouts will learn about the shelter and take a behind-the-scenes tour. Please see information about shelter tours on this page.

If you are in the pursuit of a special award or looking for a community service project, Noah’s Ark welcomes the help!  A donation drive is always a great idea.  Since we are a non-profit organization and receive no government funding, donations of supplies are a tremendous help.
