Hand forged and crafted holiday items to give and receive.
Opens 10AM each day, till 6PM. 4PM on Sunday.

(the fine print) The Arts Cabins are only open to the public during classes, workshops or events. PLEASE check the calendar and be sure a class has formed (contact us) before planning a visit to ensure the cabin is open. You may also contact us through this website (contact us) for further information or questions.
You must register for all classes and workshops, no 'walk-in' registration. This insures the instructors are prepared, materials are available, and the class size is held to a minimum. You may contact us as close as 2 days before a class begins, however we cannot guarantee space...register early as our classes are small.

Art and craft instruction in a beautiful Mount Hood community. Located in the Village of Government Camp at the 3,800 ft. level of Mount Hood, Oregon. Two former U. S. Forest Service residences have been equiped with studio space for blacksmithing, painting/drawing, glass torch work and small fusing, fiber arts and jewelry making.
The Arts Cabins are also available for private artist studio use as scheduling allows. Please contact us regarding the use of the cabins for private studio use.
Enjoy the Village of Government Camp. Be inspired by the beauty of The Cascades while working in a warm and comfortable atmosphere without worry of changing weather conditions.
Lodging available in Government Camp, as well as restaurants, micro brewery, Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum, outdoor recreation & campgrounds. Take a class, bring the family. Skiing, hiking, fishing .... and of course ART!
The Arts Cabin Project is a program of the Mount Hood Cultural Center and Museum, a 501 (c)(3), publicly supported organization. The Arts Program maintains a 'Local Scholarship Fund', founded by Maureen Musser and maintained by local residents and patrons. The scholarship goes to local mountain residents who would otherwise not have the chance to take a class or workshop. If you would like to donate to this fund, or to The Arts Cabin Project, please send your donation to either ATTN: Arts Cabins Local Scholarship, or, The Arts Cabins Project, Betsy Valian,c/o The Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum, P.O. Box 55, Government Camp, Oregon 97028. You will receive a letter from the MHCCM for your records.
