Donate to Mountain Valley Developmental Services!

Mountain Valley Developmental Services is always looking for ways to better serve our clients.  Your donations make it possible for us to explore new opportunities to meet their needs and find new and innovative ways of accomplishing our mission to help people with disabilities become valuable members of their community.

The generous support of our community sometimes makes all the difference in the quality of life of persons with developmental disabilities. This type of support comprises the extra quality of life that makes a memorable impression on individuals with disabilities, their families and even the staff that work with them. Knowing that the people in the broader community care enough to donate money or goods makes a difference.  Mountain Valley Developmental Services is always looking for ways to better serve our clients.  Your donations make it possible for us to explore new opportunities to meet their needs and find new and innovative ways of accomplishing our mission to help people with disabilities become valuable members of their community. 

You can donate gifts such as money, real estate, buildings, stock, vehicles, antiques, collectibles, unopened food, clothes, new building material (for our group homes), your services or products, or any number of other items. Mountain Valley Developmental Services is a 501(c ) (3) organization under the internal revenue code and all gifts may qualify for a tax deduction.  Please call in advance to discuss where and if we need certain items.  Also we would be happy to help you transfer gifts if you have a questions.  Please consult a tax professional about the benefits to you and charitable tax deductions.

Memorial/Honorarium Gifts: We are pleased to accept any gift in the name of a loved one. Please let us know whom you wish to honor when submitting your gift. We will be sure to contact the family to let them know of your generosity (but not how much you gave).

Pledge: You can make a larger gift to MVDS over time and pay with installments.

Real Estate: The cost of real estate in our valley is so expensive and the waitlist for our services is so long.  Please contact our business office to make these transactions as easy as possible. 

In-Kind donations: We love your gifts!  Please call before dropping off so we can be prepared.

Matching Gifts: Contact your employer or bank.  They may have a matching gift program, which would help MVDS twice as much!

Securities:  Yes, you can donate securities, 401K’s and IRA’s.
