APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 1, 2009
ELIGIBILITY: Educators of Public, Private, Parochial Middle and Senior High Schools who currently teach Civics, Government, Law Studies, American History and General Social Studies. The registration form must be accompanied with a letter from your school principal or social studies supervisor indicating that you will implement the curriculum in your classroom.
REGISTRATION FEE: $35.00
EDUCATOR’S STIPEND: $200.00
EDUCATOR’S EXPENSE BENEFITS: Educators who complete the two day workshop will be provided with hotel lodging: (2) nights; working meals (continental breakfast & lunch) each day of the workshop; LCE will reimburse the cost of hotel room & room tax (only) Maximum: $120.00 per night when presented with a hotel receipt. Parking, dinner meals and incidentals during your hotel stay are not a covered expense for this workshop.
Each participant who completes the workshop will receive a FREE set of (25) "We The People- The Citizen & The Constitution" classroom textbooks and (1) FREE WTP Teacher's Manual.
