This year's Civics in Action Award was presented to Matthew Brandeburg, from Caddo Parish Magnet High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. His selection was based on his demonstration of outstanding civic virtue and citizenship. He was presented his award plaque at the Louisiana State Bar Association's Annual Meeting before the House of Delegates on June 12, 2009 in Sandestin, Florida. View photos.
