2009 Civics in Action Award Recipient Announced
 
BrandeburgThe LCLCE is proud to announce this year's Civics in Action Award recipient is Matthew Brandeburg from Caddo Parish Magnet High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. 
 
Matthew will be presented with a plaque denoting the honor that has been bestowed upon him before the LSBA House of Delegates on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Louisiana State Bar Association's Annual Meeting.

First Annual North Louisiana Symposium for Law Related Education
 
Close to seventy educators from north Louisiana attended the symposium held at the Squire Creek Country Club on May 14th.

Kids' Chance
 
The Louisiana Bar Foundation Kids' Chance Scholarship Program helps provide educational opportunities to dependent children of workers killed or permanently and totally disabled in an accident that is compensable under a Workers' Compensation Act or law.
