The award will be bestowed upon the student, by the Louisiana Center for Law and Civic Education, the public education partner of the Louisiana State Bar Association at the annual meeting of the Association in San Destin, Florida. The award recipient will receive public recognition before the entire body of the Louisiana State Bar Association, a plaque and a one night stay for their family at the luxurious San Destin Beach Resort.

CRITERIA

Please submit one (1) page, single spaced statement as to why you deem the student is a worthy candidate for the LCE Civics in Action Award. Please include in your statement the work of the student that demonstrates civic virtue and citizenship. You may also attach an article resulting from the student's activity or photo that exemplifies the student's achievement.
