THIS IS J24 SELF-HELP FOR ALCOHOLISM AND DRUG ADDICTION

We are a fellowship of men and women who do not use alcohol or drugs one day at a time and who want to help those who also desire to stop using alcohol or drugs.

How do we do it?

We have a plan in which we maintain ourselves without consuming alcohol or drugs for 24 Hours at a time that way our life without alcohol and drugs does not become a burden.

Who can be a member of J24?

Anyone, man or woman, who has a problem with alcohol or drugs and has to desire to stop using, regardless of their past.  Our organization has no religious, political or affiliations of any kind.

What is our primary objective?

To bring the message of hope and life to those who suffer from alcoholism and substance abuse and in that way maintaining our own sobriety.

PHASE I / RESIDENTIAL

What is Phase I?

When entering to J24, the individual begins the residential part of the program for at least 90 days, in which the individual will attend 12 STEP meetings focusing on the root causes of their addiction. The members do the maintenance and daily chores of the facility on a voluntary basis as part of their personal recovery.   Phase I of the program is FREE to any individual seeking a Self-Help approach to recovery based on a 12 STEP program.  Individuals in Phase I of the program are housed in a dormitory located at J24.

Who needs the services offered in Phase I?

Any person who suffers from the notorious negative consequences of alcoholism and substance abuse and as a result cannot live a “normal” life.

What medical services are offered by J24?

J24 is not a Hospital, Mental Institution,Clinic, or Treatment Facility; we are STRICKLY a 12 STEP Program of recovery who offers the individual a place to live if they need it.   If you need to know where you can take someone who is need of medical attention as a result of alcohol or substance abuse call our 24-hour hotline and we will give you information on where you can take him or her.   If it is an emergency call 911 for assistance.   Remember alcoholism and substance abuse is a DISEASE of both mind and body.

What do you need to be a member of Phase I?

The desire and willingness to be a member the program and agreement to the program rules and regulations.

       PHASE II / SOBER HOUSE

After a member completes Phase I they are offered Phase II of the program.  While in Phase II clients are allowed to seek employment or enter educational /vocational training and are required to pay for a monthly quota which is determined based on the individual member's income. Members in Phase II remain at J24 and attend 12 Step meetings at J24.  The monthly quota that the clients in Phase II give help to provide services to the members in Phase I.  Members who do not wish to enter into Phase II of the program return to there homes.
