PRAY ~
You can support Good Samaritan by praying for the ministry and the people. Pray
- That God will be glorified in all that we do at Good Samaritan;
- Wisdom and guidance for the board and staff of Good Samaritan;
- That we fully rely on God as our Source (financial, manpower, physical, mental);
- That every client would be touched by God's love;
- That every volunteer and staff member treats others as Christ would;
- That God will touch the hearts of individuals in the churches and in the community to truly care about "the least of these";
- That God will show you YOUR part in this ministry.
GO ~
- Volunteer and/or recruit others to volunteer with you in the Food Pantry or the Clothing Room;
- Volunteer and/or recruit others to assist in preparing and mailing the newsletter (proofreaders, sort by zip, fold, label, etc);
- Be an ambassador at your church, civic organization, or work to share the good work God is doing at Good Samaritan;
GIVE~
- Support Good Samaritan Ministries financially.
- Honor a loved one by giving an honorarium or memorial in their name. We accept and acknowledge honorariums and memorials.
- Encourage your church or civic group to give a monthly monetary donation to support all the ministries of Good Samaritan.
- Participate in the “Fifth Sunday Food Drive”. Every 5th Sunday churches are encouraged to have a food drive to benefit our Food Pantry. You can get a list of needed items by seeing our newsletter or by calling the office at 643.2273
- Donate good, clean clothing to our Clothing Ministry. We also accept house-wares, sheets, curtains, shoes, etc. We are always in need of: plus size clothing, children and infant clothing, men’s denim.
- Clothing and food items can be delivered to Good Samaritan during our open hours.
