- March with us in the Salute to Israel Parade on 5th Avenue.

- Transportation is provided from four convenient locations - Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey, and Albany.

- The whole camp goes together to march in the Salute to Israel parade on May 31 on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. For years, Hashomer Hatzair and Camp Shomria have proudly marched in the parade under the banner: "Youth for Peace". Parents are encouraged to join us - parade details will be posted two weeks prior.
- The entire two-night, three day program is only $250.

*$40 rate available only to new campers paying standard tuition rates for a Shomria summer program of two weeks or more.

This list is a guideline. Please be sure to pack plenty of warm clothing (it can be chilly at night) and wet weather gear in case it rains.

Salute to Israel Parade Details: Sunday May 31st
We will meet at 1:00 on 53rd street
between Madison and 5th Avenues to begin marching in the Salute to
Israel Parade. All are welcome! If you would like to join us to march
in the Parade, please meet us at the this location and time. We will
begin marching at approximately 1:30pm.
Pick-Up Information
There will be no return bus to Long
Island or New Jersey. Parents must pick their children up either from
Camp Shomria by 10:00am or in Manhattan at approximately 3:30pm. In
Manhattan we will
be meeting parents on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, by
the fountain, at 3:30pm. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located at
1000 5th Avenue at 82nd Street.
