Provided this space
By Julie Walker

I drove by on a warm summer day.

You had a look about you that made me want to stay.  I was told days later that you would be mine, and off I went to do my time.

Sweat, tears and sacrificed time away from home.  I was hopeful and sure it would not be long.
It seemed like forever before  I would see you again, but it's getting closer
to the day we will meet again.

The summer has passed what a hot one it was, and not take fun away from the sun!
Now fall has arrived with leaves on the prize.

With each passing day, and each passing night,
my adrenaline for sure is on the rise!
Others came to see what all the excitement would soon be.
Wind chill factors at thirty degrees;
winter is approaching and so are we.

The days get closer, in like six weeks; we will meet real soon without debris.

I long for the day we will meet face to face and I will introduce you to the family yo have provided this space.  And at that time your name will be revealed,
I hope you like

"HOME"

and you would not appeal.
