WOMEN AT THE WELL SUMMER RETREAT:
“Mystics and Mentors”
Chris Machado, SSS and the Women at the Well team
The slower pace of summer enables us to take the time to bask
in the beauty and sacredness all around us. The women mystics
had this sense of “contemplative noticing” that allowed them to
encounter God in the everyday. As Gerard Manley Hopkins
wrote, “The world is charged with the grandeur of God”. Our
time with the mystics will inspire conversation and
thoughtfulness; applications to our daily lives; humor, and story
telling. Most importantly, we’ll relax and enjoy the women
mystics among us. Come and join us for a restorative weekend
of wisdom and reflection, quiet and companionship, prayer and
fun!
Fee: $200 - private room, $175 - shared room,
$110 - commuter
$30 deposit requested with registration by July 17.
