Luke 18: 15-16
"People were bringing even infants to Jesus that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they sternly ordered them not to do it. But, Jesus called for them and said, "Let the children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.'"

There’s a LOT going on this Summer!  How can you be involved?  Email the church to register or write your name on the sign-up sheets outside the main office.

All children and youth are invited to participate in the Mighty Musical Menagerie!
Beginning June 7, from 9:00-10:00, we will gather in the Children's Center to explore our musical gifts! We'll be playing handbells (very child friendly), singing, and using our instruments to bring joy to God, sharing our gifts at the 10:15 Eucharist throughout the summer. Come be part of the fun, share your talent, or learn a new one this summer!

Meet The Reverend Trish Winters!

Greetings! I am The Reverend Trish Winters and I serve as the Clergy Associate for Spiritual and Educational Formation of Children and Youth. I am ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and have been working with youth and children since 2000. I graduated from Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky, with a Master of Divinity, and from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, with a BA in Religious Studies and Psychology. I’m married to The Reverend Brett Winters and together we have two great dogs and a bunny!

It has been said, that we are drowning in information, but starved for knowledge. At Grace Episcopal Church, I believe we are not simply disseminating information, but teaching our children how to think as faith-people and as Christians. Their faith-knowledge comes from the stories found in the Bible, the gathering and worshipping community, and their experience of God at work in the world. This learning is nurtured during our Sonshine Academy (Christian education) hour, where youth and children experience the stories of faith, worship God with their prayers and actions, and work with God’s people through mission. I hope you will join us as we learn and experience God’s story together.

Nursery Care is provided in the Summer from 10:00-11:30 am for ages birth to three years old. Our dedicated nursery workers are Verna and Andreea.
