Education.  Upon arrival at Grace House, each girl is given an academic assessment.  Based on the assessment an educational plan is then developed by the staff, teachers, and social workers.  Progress is monitored by frequent meetings with school teachers, report cards, mid-semester reports, and tutor reports.

Etiquette.  The girls enjoy preparing the table for dinner and learning cooking techniques.  They engage in etiquette courses that teach them proper table and social etiquette.  They learn basic living skills that will enable them to lead productive lives.

We teach the girls to grow into mature godly women.

The girls are all members of the Cultivator’s Club, an in-house Christian charm course.  This club emphasizes how girls can be beautiful inside and outside and is based upon biblical principles.  This course also assists the girls in combating issues with which they are confronted with as they grow into young ladies.

Packing the suitcase.  There comes a time when girls will transition from living at Grace House to either living with a family member, moving to a foster home, or going to college.  A special ceremony is held in her honor and she is given a “suitcase."   This suitcase is filled with items representative of Grace House upon departure (Bible, notebook, etc.).

Bible Class.  The girls each take part in memorizing Bible verses and daily devotions.  They are taught that God loves them and that they are special.  Bible studies at Grace House are open to the community as well as its residents.
