Family Services offers homemaking and parenting services to TDPRS referred clients.
This includes home safety, cleanliness, budgeting, parenting skills, etc.
Supervised Visitation
Family Services specialists supervise TDPRS visits between children who have been
removed and their parents. Family Services specialists report to the caseworker with weekly case notes.
Parenting
In addition to in-home parenting services offered to TDPRS referred clients, Family Services
offers parenting classes to the community. No-cost weekly classes are held at the Denton
Outreach office, the Lewisville Outreach office, and at out shelter. There are ten sessions that
must be completed before receiving a certificate of completion. The current schedule is as follows:
