About Us

Crisis Recovery International Volunteers is a nonprofit agency dedicated to assisting survivors of traumatic events by providing humanitarian assistance.

Our organization does not send money to anonymous recipients, but takes donated dollars to the survivors and buys the items in the affected countries that would be most useful to assist survivors in their recovery and to help restore their ability to be self-sufficient.

We are experienced international travelers who founded this organization to provide disaster recovery and humanitarian assistance. We have combined our enthusiasm for these fields in this company so that you can join us in providing humanitarian relief.

Travel to affected countries makes a difference because we:

  • Provide items that are most needed and are culturally appropriate.

  • Place money back into the affected economy by purchasing those items locally.

  • Put local craftspeople back to work furnishing, repairing, and replacing needed items.

  • Insert needed money into the economy by staying in local hotels and buying food from local merchants at the markets.

  • Assist families' recovery by helping them become self-sustaining.

  • Ensure that the survivors who need the help, receive it.
