Citiwide Computer Training Center

Support Citiwide

Make a Tax-Deductible Contribution

Citiwide participates on GuideStar, the on-line standard for nonprofit accountability.

Your tax-deductible contribution will help support Citiwide Computer Training Center as we work to close the digital divide between the "haves" and the "have-nots." Technical training can mean the difference between poverty and self-sufficiency for many Americans.

Citiwide Computer Training Center is a 501(c)(3) corporation registered in the District of Columbia.

Planned Giving
Many of our supporters make charitable gifts by naming the Citiwide Computer Training Center as a beneficiary in their wills. The federal government permits these gifts, or bequests, by allowing an unlimited estate tax charitable deduction.

To make a bequest to the Citiwide, contact your lawyer or use the following language. There are three ways you can make a bequest:

Specific Bequest -You designate a specific dollar amount, specific percentage, or specific property to Citiwide.

Residual Bequest -Your estate will pay all debts, taxes, expenses, and specific bequests. The remaining amount-the residue-will be transferred to the CitiWide.

Conditional Bequest -You can specify that Citiwide receive all or a portion of your estate only under certain circumstances. For example, you can name Citiwide as a beneficiary of your estate only if there are no surviving close family members. Childless couples sometimes provide for the entire estate to go to the surviving spouse, or if the spouse does not survive, to Citiwide.

When you decide to participate in the planned giving program, Citiwide will honor you with a plaque. We realize that, through this special gift, you consider us part of your family, and we want to do our best to keep you informed as to how your gift will be used.
