Field Trips and Group Visits
A visit to the Children's Museum will be an experience full of learning, creativity and discovery! After a brief orientation by Museum staff, your group will be divided into several small groups.
Special art, science, movement and music workshops are available and can be personalized for your class's specific needs. For more information, inquire when you book your field trip. Additional fees apply.
Discovery Cards will assist your teaching staff and chaperones as they guide their groups through the exhibit areas. These age and grade appropriate Discovery Cards offer suggestions for group and individual activities which are thought-provoking, and fun-filled opportunities for learning. The activities are based upon the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
Group visits can be scheduled almost any time that the Museum is open (subject to prior Museum bookings).
Museum hours are:
• Tuesday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm
• Saturday & Sunday 12 - 5 pm
• Closed most Mondays, except certain school holidays
• Summer hours, beginning June 21 are: Mon - Friday 9 am - 4 pm,
Saturdays 12 - 4 pm, closed Sundays
