  Scarecrow Stomp
 Scarecrow

Date: Sunday, September 20, 2009 (Our rain date is Sunday, September 27)
Time: 11 am- 4 pm

What better way to get ready for the fall season then with our very own Scarecrow Stomp! Bring an old or outgrown pants and shirt to stuff, and make a scarecrow to take home (we'll provide the stuffings!). Bring an old pillow case, cloth sack or purchase a burlap sack from us for a dollar and help us go green (instead of plastic bags we used to use for the head)!

That's not all we have planned! Press some apple cider, crank the handle of our old fashioned wringer washer, hang your socks out to dry, and dress up like a "country bumpkin". Not to mention the lively folk music! It's a great family-fun event!

Admission to the Scarecrow Stomp is:
• $4 per person for members
• $8 per person for non-members
with a family maximum of $30 (at same address)

Admission includes all Scarecrow Stomp activities and admission to the Museum’s interactive exhibits.  Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.  Call ahead in the event of inclement weather.

Please limit to: 1 Adult sized scarecrow per family or a couple of kid sized scarecrows. Remember, your scarecrow needs space to ride home in your car with you!
