 Friends Indeed
Friends Indeed is a program that connects groups wanting to assist shelters and group homes with homes that need help. This can be in the form of home maintenance, yard work, and activities and special events for the kids. . Special thanks to Friends who helped the victims of Hurricane Katrina. CRN collected over two truckloads of furniture, bedding, clothes, kitchenware, food and stuffed animals. A half a dozen families provided temporary refuge for about 30 evacuees.
 Some of the activities of 2007:
A boat ride and fishing trip for one of the group homes.
The North GeorgiaMotorcycle club giving exciting rides and a fun meals for kids
Perimeter Church and their UNITE! Program that did yard work and basic maintenance at 8 shelters and group homes.
Fox Theater for ticket to Radio City Music Hall
The Atlanta Hawks providing over 2,200 tickets to Hawk's games
 These programs are designed to fit YOUR schedule. The activity can be as short as one hour or as long as 4 to 8 hours. Events can be scheduled for groups as small as 6 or as large as a hundred or more. Friends Indeed is a great opportunity for clubs, businesses, churches, and individuals to touch the lives of homeless children in a positive way and let them know they are not forgotten |
