Mentoring
Our volunteers come from all walks of life. We work with both high school and college students as well as trade workers and business people. We rely on the diverse talents and specialties of our volunteers to provide our youth with great experiences with involved members of the community.
We ask for a commitment of minimum 20 hours in a period up to three months. The volunteers may work once a week, twice a week, or everyday. You can bring a group of volunteers for special projects.
Winter hours: Monday through Thursday 3:30 to 5:00pm
Summer hours: 1:00 to 5:00pm
We also offer internship opportunities in areas such as fundraising, writing of small proposals, and special projects. For more information please contact the Youth Program Coordinator Doris Andrade by email or by phone at (773) 509-5300 ext. 17
