This project offers workshops, trainings, activities and community events to increase the leadership potential of our Latinas. We provide:

• Eight-week workshops in leadership tools (Spanish)
• Four-week workshops and trainings in community organizing (Spanish)

After the 12 weeks of leadership training, the women leaders continue to seek new opportunities. Almost all of the women use the programs we offer at Centro Romero or our partner organizations to continue their learning and leadership skills. They take ESL classes and job readiness training. Some attend seminars such as opening their own business or going to college to become professionals. Centro Romero wants to create leaders for a lifetime instead of just providing leadership skills. We give them the tools and encourage them to use it in their personal and professional lives.
