Subject:  Autism Awareness - from another group

In honor of autism awareness month, here are some autism related web
resources you can use at home, school and the community. FYI –
Sometimes Yahoo groups separates web links making it impossible to click
on. You can copy and paste the url into your browser and close up the
spaces or go to One Place for Special Needs where I gathered these
links.

A is for Autism help – The Autism Help website includes a 15 minute
autism training program, a breakdown of educational issues by age group
and a large printable files section of strategies for a variety of
autism issues.

U is for Understanding autism patients – North Shore LIJ created an
autism toolkit for healthcare practitioners along with an informative
brochure called Your Next Patient has Autism. Print out a copy and give
to your physician.
