William Krawchuk died after being shot by Minnesota State Trooper Andrew Thelen during a traffic stop. Thelen had reached into Krawchuk’s car to “unlock the door” when the car accelerated forward. Thelen held his revolver to Krawchuk’s head and pulled the trigger. Krawchuk appears to have been intoxicated at the time.
