Mario, Adan and Job Aguirre. Dad leads by example and supervises.
The sons pastor churches in Mexico and in Colorado.
We have been working there off and on for several years to help them reach out. The poorer people live on the frontier outskirts of Chihuahua and the church has planted itself among them to provide spiritual, material, social and educational services to the community. Teams like ours from the U.S. and elsewhere lend a helping hand, bringing tools, manpower, money and love.
Plumbing was put in from the mains in the street below the property all the way to the finished fixtures in the restrooms. Water pressure was low, so a cistern, pressure tank and pumps were installed to help meet peak demands. When the water was turned on, it was a celebration!

The roof over the second story of the first section of the facility was put in place so that the interior space could be built out, wired and drywalled.

Inside, the computer lab is serving the community with classes in computer literacy. The facility continues to be built out to fulfill the master plan for the site. People are being served and friendships have developed.
We long to return with a team and continue this outreach. Medical and dental services would find a good place to help in this neighborhood.
We provided a commercial concrete mixer that has helped the local men continue construction as funds come in, even when there is not a team working alongside. Now, with the local volunteers leading the way, two more phases of the master plan have been completed.
