Bristlecone Family Resources invites the community to attend
the 5th
Annual Italian Feast fundraiser taking place at the Eldorado Hotel
Casino on Wednesday, October 21 , 2009 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. This event is sponsored by Gregg Carano and the Eldorado Hotel Casino catering
staff. All
proceeds benefit Bristlecone Family Resources addiction recovery programs.
This
year’s event will feature not only a fabulous meal, exciting silent auction,
heart warming video presentations and a chance to win an Italian Vacation
for Two, but will feature a warm keynote address and VIP reception with Tom
Farley,New York Times Best
Selling Authorand brother of late
comedian Chris Farley. After losing his brother to a substance overdose in
1997, Tom Farley foundedtheChris Farley Foundation, an organization committed to educating
young adults about the risks of substance abuse. They accomplish this goal
through the use of humor and theatrical arts. Tom Farley has received
critical acclaim for his best-selling book, The
Chris Farley Show, and has spoken at venues across the country on substance
abuse treatment and prevention.
Tickets are available at two levels; $75.00 general admission,
and $150 VIP tickets which include a private reception, with Tom
Farley. Student rates are available for $50.00 for general admission.
The
winner of the Italian Vacation for Twowill be announce at the event. Vacation raffle
tickets are available in advance and at the event for $50 each. Winner need not be present to win.

Ride for Recovery event.

Bristlecone Family
Resources, Reno Harley
Davidson/Buell and the Iron Nation and Sober Riders Motorcycle clubs,
announce the Inaugural Ride for Recoveryevent. The Ride for Recovery is
a charitable motorcycle run benefiting Bristlecone Family Resources addiction
recovery programs.
The event is part of Reno Harley
Davidson/Buell’s grand opening weekend. Join
us Sunday May 3, 2009 for the exciting “Mystery Ride”. The ride begins with a
registration welcome breakfast at Bristlecone Family Resources South McCarran
campus located at 1725 South
McCarran Blvd Reno, NV 89502. The ride will launch promptly at 9:00am.
Participants earn raffle tickets by answering questions using clues collected
from each stop. The grand prize winner receives a $1000 gift certificate for
Platinum Paint and Body.
The fun continues at 12:30pm at
the new Reno Harley Davidson/Buell facility where finish line celebration
activities begin. Enjoy food
and retail vendors, live entertainment by The
Cash Only band, a dunk tank with
local dignitaries, several raffle prizes and a live auction.
Admission fees are $25 for single
riders, $40 for couples and includes an event t-shirt, breakfast and beverage vouchers and finish line celebration
entry. Those who wish to only attend the finish line celebration pay a $10 admission
