                 "ACTION" - A transitional
housing program for youth ages 16-21

                 live independently. They must be in school or working to stay in
                 the program.

                     SERVICES: In-patient psychiatric facility where patients are 
                 treated by qualified Physicians, 24hr Nursing staff, skilled
                 Activity Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists and 
                 Counselors in an Inpatient facility including:

                 Adult Psychiatric Male 44 beds
                     Adult Psychiatric Female 44 beds
                 Dual Diagnosis (Male & Female) 22 beds
                 Intermediate Care (Male & Female Nonadmission,
                 skilled rehabilitation) 44 beds

SERVES:

             Any citizen from age 18 and older. The admission process to
             Harris Psychiatric Hospital begins 
with assessment by a physician
             working with the Community Mental Health Center (MHC) or 
             Emergency Room and a screening by a hospital physician to
             determine a person's level of danger 
to self or others due to a
             mental disorder.
