Flags4Heroes is conducting a Fallen Heroes Remembrance in Orlando, Florida, at the Gaylord Palms Resort, from Noon, Friday, September 25, through 7PM, Sunday, September 27.
We will Honor all Florida Law Enforcement Officers & Firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty over the years, and the many U.S. Veterans from Florida who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our liberties, freedom and rights.
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, BUT SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR FIRST RESPONDER UNITS
Friday, September 25, at Noon
802 flags, which honor the 719 Fallen Florida Law Enforcement Heroes and 83 Fallen Florida Firefighter Heroes, will be placed near the flagpole at the main entrance to the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando (Kissimmee). Two-Hundred large Flags will be placed in a large shield to honor U.S. Veterans.
Friday, Noon through Sunday at 7 PM
The Remembrance Field is open to the public. Flowers and other tributes are permitted. Law Enforcement, Veteran, or Firefighting Units, and their families, are urged to schedule their own personal memorial service at the Remembrance Field. Sunday, 7:00 PM
A Sunset Service will close the Remembrance Field and the flags will move on to honor other Fallen Heroes across the United States of America.
